Getting Started Guide
Welcome to the MateSel Getting Started guide. Some MateSel and Breeding Program concepts can be complex, so we have put together a set of learning resources that we hope will help you get the most out of MateSel and discover new insights into your breeding program.
The getting started guide will provide an overview of the Frontier, Optimal Contributions Selection (OCS), Managing Traits, and Managing Progeny Inbreeding. These are the core MateSel features. You can then explore some of the more advanced features including Multiple End Uses, Mixed Mating Groups, and other features as listed in the left-hand side of screen.
