Integrating with databases

The MateSel desktop application can be launched from your organisation’s web portal using the JSON data format to exchange the necessary data with security authentication.

This can be helpful in the following scenarios:

• A Breed Society/Association that would like to offer MateSel via their member portal. It allows members to select their candidate males and females from the member portal, which might include candidates from sire catalogues to decide what purchases to make AND/OR drive their next round of matings. The member portal then creates the necessary JSON files required (Candidate performance data, Pedigree/GRM, etc) and provides this information to MateSel.
• A Breeding Organisation that has their own web-based pipelines and would like to automate the creation of the MateSel datafiles and not have to deal with CSV files.
